My Hair Colours
I’ve had all different hair colours over the years, I first
got my sister to put bleached streaks through my hair when I was 14.
Then I
went for a permanent colour, I still remember the name… Cherry Chocolate. It
was basically what it was called, a dark brown with a red tinge to it. I went
back to natural over the next year but as soon as I was in college level 1
hairdressing I had red low lights, then a full head red, went back to brown and
had highlights all in the first year.
In Level 2 I didn’t really change, except
for my hair growing out the highlights and I dyed it back to dark brown.
End of
2012 I wanted a change and turned to ombre with my very long hair and no toner.
That lasted a good 6 months.
I dyed it black, I embraced my paleness and
became Snow White for the rest of 2013.
Since then I’ve had dark red and different browns, then 2015
I went to my local hairdressers and had balayage, I loved it so much, even went
back to have re toned. But I always end up cutting my hair shorter or not
having the money to get the colour done. August 2016 I tried to my own
balayage, let me tell you don’t do it. You can’t see behind you, it won’t work!
By autumn I got it chopped and my lovely hairdresser sorted the colour out.
I have always said I’ll never go completely blonde, I just
don’t see it suiting me at all. But I’ve been so tempted to go lighter than I’ve
ever gone before, with an ash toner, that I just went for it. I’m so happy with
it, but I don’t know if I could ever go lighter than this… we’ll see.
